I'm Amy. The owner and a stylist at Wildwood Beauty Collective. I have been in this industry since 2007 and opened my first salon in 2015. I specialize in balayage and blonding but am obsessed with all things hair and can help you will all of your haircare needs. I take as many classes as I can so I can stay up to date on new trends and techniques. I can't wait to make your hair dreams come true!
My Story
I opened up my first business right after my 2nd child was born. I wasn't ready to go back to work and miss time with my kids. Weekends, Field Trips, Birthdays. All of it. So I decided it was time to make it all happen for myself. My first salon was in the breakfast nook of my house. It was "just enough" to start. The dream of more started in this first little space. After about 5 years working out of my home I rented my first little suite in downtown Arlington. I was still growing my dream one baby step at a time. I kept picturing a place in town that could be a one stop shop for all beauty needs. A place where you can spend an entire day and get totally pampered. And I finally made it happen! While there have been many ups and downs on this road to my dream salon I am SO excited that you get to see my dream come true!
